Historic Argyle is very thankful for any and all financial support which brings us closer to restoring the Saxton House historical site and realizing other organizational goals within the community.
Here are some ways that you can help:

Directed financial contribution. Help us to achieve specific short range goals, for
example:
- Complete the interior restoration of the Saxton House
- Purchase period furniture for the Saxton House and Red Front office.
- Retire the Saxton House mortgage.
- Sponsor an event.

Unrestricted financial donation. Allow Historic Argyle to apply your donation to
programs and recurring expenses.

Purchase a commemorative paving stone. Historic Argyle is pleased to offer this
opportunity to purchase a paving stone engraved with your family
name and displayed on the Saxton House historical site. Your purchase establishes your family name
for posterity and contributes to the restoration of this important historical site.
- Donate historical memorabilia, building materials, period furniture, etc.

Can You Help?
Historic Argyle has set about the task of restoring and maintaining Saxton House, a prominent landmark in the Argyle community since 1850, and historically important statewide as the boyhood home of Robert LaFollette. This work is ongoing, mostly with volunteer labor from the community and materials that were donated or purchased with local grant money.
Help is needed. General carpentry skills are valuable, but most of the work, which may include painting and garden maintenance, do not require any special skills.
Can you help us? The result of ongoing work is a historical site that the community can take pride in. We envision a site that is open for visitation. (Could you volunteer as docent?) It can also become a site for community events. (Could you volunteer to assist with the event?)
